So, I recently applied to be a Discovery Subscription Box ambassador for 4Curly Hair, a few months ago. And guess what I was chosen to be a ambassador.

I feel being a ambassador it will enable me to share new products to my audience.

The main purpose of Discovery Subscription box it so you have a chance to simple new products, you decide if you would like to make further purchases from that brand. So the products will be sample sizes.

In my first discovery box I recieved producrts from YAKI ROOTS. They make natural, cruelty free skincare and haircare products.

In my box I recieved a Tea tree and Peppermint shampoo bar for my hair and grow to glow moisturising butter cream to use on my skin.

So here is my little review using these products.

Yaki Roots Tea tree and Peppermint shampoo bar, well I will say it has been a very long time since I have used a shampoo bar to cleanse my hair. Make sure your hair is thoroughly wet. Make sure you have arm muscles, lol. I made sure I applied the soap to my scalp in circular motion, so my scalp was thoroughly cleansed. Then massaged my scalp to remove product buildup on my scalp. When I used the shampoo soap bar the first time it didn’t lather up too much. On the second wash it lathered up better. But this also happens when I use normal liquid shampoo in my hair. The shampoo bar smelt nice and the peppermint was not a strong overpowering smell. Like I joked before about having arm muscles, because you are doing more arm work, working the product in the hair and massaging the scalp. After the second wash my hair felt soft, which was good, because I was not sure what to expect. I love how the shampoo soap bar is made with natural ingredients including shea butter and jojoba oil.

Yaki Roots Grow and Glow moisturising butter cream. It is a butter cream for hair, but I also used it as a cream for my legs. Don’t judge me, it’s all natural 🙂 and safe to use on the body also. Let’s just say it is a multi purpose butter cream. Used a few times on my hair. All I can say now the season is changing its all about investing in good quality haircare and skincare products. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the butter creams. Good creamy consistency and made my hair and skin soft. I used it mainly on my legs and hands. Has a light fragrant smell. With natural ingredients including jojoba oil, shea butter, rose water, and mango butter.
