I was recieving boxes from June 2018 until late 2019, when I had to take a pause due to personal circumstances. But decided to resumed getting boxes from this month September 2020.
For September Treasuretress theme they are celebrating Black History Month early, loving the design. And do you see the familiar logo at the bottom corner? Yasssssssssssssssssss it’s all about Shea Moisture. I am a big fan of Shea Moisture products, but they have so many collections to choose from.
In the September box I received………..
First is Shea Moisture Argan oil and Almond milk shampoo. This shampoo has a lightweight formula, formulated by Shea Moisture. To cleanse, rehydrate and rejuvenate your hair. Ingredients include Argan oil, Almond milk, Organic Shea butter and Marshmallow root extract.
Next Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Yogurt hydrate and repair conditioner. Said to be a rich formula. And has great slip to aid in detangling your hair. Ingredients include Manuka Honey, Yogurt extract, Mafura oil, and Baabab oil. This is a rinse-out conditioner.
Next my fave deep conditioner Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor oil treatment masque sachet. Which I repurchase when needed. I don’t know what it is but my type 4 hair just loves it. This masque has a special blend of protein to help strengthen the hair strands and oils to feed the hair some moisture. Ingredients include Jamaican Black Castor oil, Shea butter, Peppermint, Keratin, and Apple cider vinegar. As a natural I deep condition my hair every wash day. But of lately I have been added a few extra ingredients to add more richness benefits to my hair when deep conditioning. Check out my blog about how I make a Coffee hair mask for my hair.
Next Shea Moisture Jojoba oil and Ucuuba Butter tension relief serum. I have not used this serum before, but have heard good thing about it. This serum is best to be used when you have particular protective hairstyles (cornrows, box braids and extensions). And will sooth and tensions and itchiness you experience. This serum only came out in the UK in 2019 so fairly new for us. Ingredients includes Jojoba oil, Ucuuba butter, and Carrot seed oil.
Last is Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor oil strengthen and restore edge treatment. This is something different for me as I don’t have much joy with edge control, but this is not a edge control. This edge treatment is a product to help your edges to flourish. But it is a gel formula, so it will take your edges too. Ingredients include Jamaican Black Castor oil, Shea butter, Keratin, and Peppermint. Can be used regular to help promote natural hair growth and better edges.
Also Shea Moisture products have –
- NO Sulfates
- NO Paraffin
- NO Mineral oil
- NO Petrolatum
- NO Synthetic colors
- NO Phthalates
- NO Parabens
And if you are unsure how to use the hair products when you receive them, don’t worry in each box you receive the will be a leaflet booklet, letting you know about each product and how to use them. Because sometimes it can be a bit daunting when you get new products.
Oh TREASURETRESS box cost £20 plus p&p. What a deal for up to 5 full sized products.
And nearly forgot to share my discount code MISSYBEELONDON10 to use at the checkout. giving you a discount of your first box. TREASURETRESS
