Hi everyone
Week 4 of Interviews with Natural hair bloggers. For this week we are interviewing @khayathandi
Quick introduction
Hi my name is Thandi and I am a natural hair influencer.

How long have you been a natural for? I have been natural most of my life but I had a brief period in high school where I relaxed my hair for 3 years then big chopped and went back to natural.
How do you feel about shrinkage? I really hate my shrinkage…..i like volume and length. The bigger the better.
What do you love most about your natural hair? I love my curl pattern and its elasticity
What does your hair wash day routine look like? How long does it last? Wash day for me its an all day job because I have very thick hair. I usually shampoo, deep condition for 1 hour then let my hair air dry till its 80% dry then add moisture back.
Do you pre-poo your hair? sometimes I do when my hair is tangled but most of the times I don’t because I feel its time consuming.
When was the last time you visited a hair salon? last went to salon last month
What is your favourite hair oils? BJC oil, homemade oils
Have you ever coloured your hair before? If yes what did you use? yes I have , I went to my hairdresser, i am not sure what she used.
When was the last time you trimmed your hair? Do you trim your hair yourself or someone else? the last time I went to salon, no i dont dare trim my own hair😂
What are your favourite hair products? cantu products , ORS hair lotion, tresseame, garnier products
Do you have any hair disaster stories you would like to share? No
Hair tips that have been helpful for you? trim regularly especially if you have tight curls like mine. Don’t use too much heat on your hair, try to hair dry.
What are your hair goals? I am currently working on retaining some length, which I have been struggling with. The other downside to this is that I don’t like extensions in my hair e.g braids and wigs. Though I do have braids installed now and again.
What is your go to hairstyle? high-puffs, ponytail hairstyle
