So hello, how are you doing today?
In this post, I will be sharing ways in how to get yourself out of a funk, especially during being in Lockdown and in the Pandemic.
So let’s get into it –
HAVE A BETTER SLEEP ROUTINE
All I can say it is very good to make sure you’re getting a decent amount of hours sleep every night. If you’re not getting enough sleep for many nights, your body will be more fatigued and not be able to function properly. If you feel you’re not getting enough hours sleep per night or your routine, try to be more active when you are awake. It is recommended that a adult should be getting around 7-9 hours per night.
STOP WATCHING TV
Well not completely, but it would be good to reduce the watch time of watching TV. And while in this Pandemic try not to watch the news channel too much either. Bad news overload is not good, and will make you worry more.
BE ACTIVE
Yes, be ACTIVE. Move around more, when you can. Get the blood pumping in your body. Try new fitness activities. Set weekly fitness targets.
START PLANNING
Yes, planning is good. Plan for the future, plan your day to day routine/schedule. Plan how you are going to be a Millionaire :). But seriously start planning more, so you are ready for anything that might or can happen.
SET GOALS
When you’re planning or set goals and making targets. Think about what do you want to achieve? How are you going to achieve it? How long will it take to achieve the goal? Also make sure the goals are obtainable and realistic.
BE THANKFUL
Be thankful for everything and everyone you have in your life and everything you have achieved in life. Remember to be thankful for the little things too.
TAKE THINGS ONE STEP AT A TIME
Remember Rome was not built in 1 day, it took energy and time to build a city. Take your time and have patience for changes to happen.
TRY NOT TO DWELL ON THE NEGATIVES
Try not to keep all the negative things that is going on, on your mind too much. Think and remind yourself about the positives in your life and the world.
BE PRO-ACTIVE
Be pro-active is similar to being active, but to be pro-active means you are actually doing something physically. Than not doing anything at all. It is the action of doing something.
GOOD EATING HABITS
To change your eating habits, might take some time to adjust. But the benefits of good eating habits will have a positive impact for your body, including having more energy. And better blood circulation and body regeneration.
PRIORITISE GOALS
When you’re setting goals, it would be a practical to figure out and prioritise your goals. Which ones are more easy to achieve in the shortest time, and which ones needs many things set in place to actually be able to achieve the goal. Think about which goals you would like to complete first.
GET INSPIRED BY OTHERS
Get inspired by the good things that other people do. Listen to motivational speakers. And read positive motivational books.
“ THING HAPPEN FOR A REASON, JUST KNOW YOU’RE DESTINED FOR GREATER THINGS”
Retrace your focus
WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN LIFE?
WHAT DO YOU WANT IN LIFE?
Then work out how you will be setting and getting your goals.
GO GET IT!!
Writing things down is good, and journalling your thought processes.
“LITTLE CHANGES DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE “
Very great tips! I think I need to replace the TV on your list with social media 😅 YouTube is my poison!
