So for this post I was prompted by regular newsletter I recieve in my email box. This year 2020 we went from – WHAT SHOULD I DO? I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO? To re-discovering, adjusting and learning. And staying calm during these different times that we are in.
So positive takeaways from 2020 are –
FLEXIBLE WORKING
A new way of working, adjusting to a new environment or it maybe familar to you, but was not used for work activites purposes and flexible learning. Thank goodness for the internet, for online meeting and catchups on Zoom and Google Meets and Teams, and online learning.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS
Rediscovering your nearby surroundings by taking leisurely walks outside. And exploring the unknown beauty which has been at your doorstep, but you just didn’t have the time to explore these. Even now when I do my regular walks I am discovering new things and it is such a experience, but sometimes puzzled as in to how come I never noticed them before.
TIME SPEND WISELY
Or just knowing how to spend your time more productively and making sure the important tasks get completed, and not wasting days doing nothing. This was and is me sometimes, and I still like to have them lazy Netflix binge watching days. But nowadays I am structuring my days better and having a better day to day routine. And encouraging new better habits. Taking up or going back to a hobbies you used to do.
2020 has been a mind-opener in many way, and 2021 will be a better year than 2020.
WHAT POSITIVE THINGS HAVE YOU LEARNT IN 2020?
True! I relate to all of these. Especially learning how to spend time wisely as I had a lot more free time than before. ✨

You are so right! Flexible working was a bit of a challenge for me when I first had to work from home but now I’m so used to it I really dont understand work without this flexibilty.

It’s great you’re structuring your days better. I’m getting lazier by the second! But it’s a good thing in my books because life has always been go, go, go. 2020 taught me to slow down and just chill!
